Searching for GRIFFIN Shelmalier Road Dublin

Surname: GRIFFIN
I'm currently researching my Cousin's husband's tree and I'm trying to locate/or obtain any information about his two brothers who he has never met as he never knew his Father John Joseph GRIFFIN (deceased). John Joseph was married to Catherine DORMAN (deceased) address Shelmalier Road Dublin and had two sons with Catherine (1)  born Dublin 1940's and (2) born Exeter, England 3 1940's. Any information would be great. Thanks.

i thought that address was a bit iffy as Shelmartin is in Marino while Shelmalier is in East Wall

so i looked on Glasnevin index to see if he was buried there and he is, his burial does not register when entering Shelmartin into address box but does when entering Shelmalier

Thomas married Christina Kearney in 1919 from his then address of 17 Nth James St,North Strand, from where all the rest of the families marriages and death's occur

Christina appears to have died at Shelmalier in 1980 age 83 from Glasnevin index

Judging by the age of Catherine born 1908 she would be 40 ish having those children though not impossible,there is also the probality that she could be a daughter of Thomas jnr born 1920s ?

Many Thanks for the information so far, however, the Catherine Dorman we are looking at who married John Joseph GRIFFIN (1924-1992) was born circa 1925 - she was daughter of Thomas DORMAN and Christine KEARNEY. We understand she died in 1994 and is also buried at Glesnevin cemetery. John Joseph eventually moved to England where he passed away in 1992.

Kathleen Griffin died Apr 25 1994 a widow in Raheny Dublin 5

She is buried with four others
Thomas Dorman d Mar 11 1942 aged 49 (as suggested by dathai earlier)
Christine Dorman d Feb 28 1980 aged 83 (as suggested by dathai earlier)
They married in 1919

Thomas Dorman d Nov 21 1979 aged 57 married of 35 Coolatree Road
Alice Dorman d Apr 06 1985 aged 61 widow of same address

presuming Thomas was Kathleen/Catherine's brother he was born c1922
There is a possibility that this is him civil ref# Dublin North 1922 Q3 V2 P313
and his marriage civil ref# Dublin North 1947 Q3 V2 P557 to Alice Teeling
It looks as if they may had only one child, a son, in 1949
As a first cousin to your cousin's father he also may be able to help with information

These records are not on line as yet and under privacy restrictions you will find searching for more recent information difficult

There are a few family trees online on different sites but most have mixed up the generations of Dormans which will cause confusion

Thanks again for all the additional information. it is greatly appreciated.....we will persue this further.....Meanwhile any other information on the Dormans of Shelmalier Road would be greatly welcomed.
As a further note, we do know that Catherine GRIFFIN (nee DORMAN) lived at 50 Shelmalier Road, East Wall, Dublin (the DORMAN family home) up until her death.
