New to Northern Ireland Genealogy Barton/Hamilton
« on: Saturday 26 October 19 19:31 BST (UK) »
Hi all, I've been successfully researching my English relatives, but now I'm coming to the Ulster Scots in my family and am drawing a blank. I've posted below what I've got so far, which isn't much! But if any of you could even point me in the right direction that would be a huge help.
I've been using Ancestry.com but frankly it doesn't seem to have much...
Thanks in advance!

Charles Barton - b. abt 1833 - d. Jun 1913 Irvinestown
m.
Jane Hamilton - b. 1863 - d. 1905 (possibly in Glasgow? She was in Glasgow for the 1901 census)

Children:
Rebecca Barton - 1878-1951
Mary Anne Barton - 1880-?
William J Barton - 1882-?

Sarah Barton - 1892-?
Catherine Barton - 1894-?
Helena Emily Barton - 1895-1967 (my Great Grandmother)

There’s a death that possibly fits your Jane. Registered in Maryhill, Glasgow 1906. GROS ref 622/1 503. Aged 45, surnames Barton & Hamilton. You can view that death certificate on the Scotlandspeople site.
