Thank you very much that is her.

And found out Caroline's maiden name was Williamson not Wilkinson (well the writing was very bad!)

Hello,

Thank you, yes that is them in 1891. I found them about an hour ago and have been pursuing young Martin (I may have some questions about him another time but seeing if I can sort him out myself first).

Thank you for the details of Elizabeth Catherine I did not have her so will follow that up. (I have Florence but that begs a whole new quandary as I have known of a Florence Garrett for a long time but did not know where she fitted in. All I have to do now is try and work out if they are one and the same or two different people).

That 1891 census did put a spanner in the works as on it father James Garrett says he is born Oban, Scotland but by 1901 the transcript is saying Bethnal Green, London but the original appears to say unknown  ???

Thank you that is a great help and explains why I did not have her in 1911. Having looked at it and checked I believe it is the correct record although it doesn't end well (early death of her mother, two of her children and then herself).

I see she has given her father an extra name but not surprising as she was only 4 when he died. Her assumed brother (still checking) did the same thing too but with more "reason" in his case.
