Looking at the census it seems that the child James was a girl called " Tamar "
There was boy called James though.
The writing on the census is rather difficult to read.
I will continue with this family trying to find if anyone else came to Australia

I am a Halstead from  the Essex  family who originally came from Southminster to Lavender Bay NSW 1875. They were Laban and Sarah nee Everett.
