Relatives in Quebec? Canada

I have relatives who emigrated to Canada around 1955.  They were born in UK in the late 1920's, so I am unsure if they are still alive. I have found two voting list entries from the early 1970's which could be them but I have no knowledge of researching in Canada.  I have the names and birth years of their two firstborn children, born in Canada, but would appreciate any help in tracing deaths of their parents or establishing if they are still possibly alive.

You could try findagrave or newspapers. Maybe their children could be on facebook or LinkedIn. You won’t have much luck with record searches as Canadian records have fairly lengthy privacy restrictions.
