Dorset Family History Society’s Monthly Meeting
« on: Thursday 07 November 19 20:51 GMT (UK) »
On Tuesday 21st January 2020:

RICHARD YEOMAN will be giving a talk entitled ‘WOMEN OF POOLE’.

It will be about the women of Poole who have made a mark on the town, the country or even internationally. They were either born in Poole or lived there for a considerable time. Richard’s interest in the subject came about from a small exhibition in Poole Central Library which coincided with International Womens’ Day.

Richard is a long time volunteer at Poole Museum’s History Centre and also editor of the Poole Museum Society’s Newsletter.

Dorset Family History Society meets at:
St George’s Church Hall,
Darby’s Lane,

Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (except August).
There is plenty of parking and the doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
