llanfair ar y bryn
« on: Sunday 10 November 19 11:49 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for family members who lived in Llanfair ar y bryn in 1864. my relative Margaret Williams, was born in Llanfair ar y bryn. I have info that she came from Nantygollen. my search shows that she was possibly in a workhouse in 1871 and her mother of the same name was married and 34 at the time. Margaret married George Jones from Glantowy Farm and moved to Onllwyn near neath. does anyone have any information on Margaret or on Nantygollen please?

the landholding of Daniel is rather different in 1851 - 151 acres rather than the 14 in 1861.

He was in trouble in 1855 for concealing illicit malt as were several other local farmers
