Thomas power born in waterford ( possibly in kilmachthomas or ballylaneen ) some time between 1900- 1912 to a Michael power and ellie/ or Ellen welsh or walsh

Can somebody find when he was born

Have you looked for him on the 1901 or 1911 censuses to narrow down his birthyear

witnesses were Thomas POWER & Maggie WALSH

Edmund was the son of Thomas POWER & Mary WALSH(E) b Feb 09 1865 LINK

Number 1153458

And his father also born in ballylaneen

21/11/1872  registered 26/11/1872

And mother

I cannot see the 1872 birth
There is a couple named William POWER and Catherine PRENDERGAST having children at that time

The parents of the Thomas POWER born in 1914 were married in 1912
William POWER & Ellen POWER on Feb 14 1912 in Waterford

William Power gives his father's name as John and his residence as Dunmore East

This would imply that any birth with a different father's names is most likely not correct
