Search Help Needed- Henry Ranton (or Renton) and Elizabeth Ranton (or Renton)

Hi all,

I am on the hunt for my next two brick walls and I would appreciate any help

First, Henry Ranton born 1829 in Great Yarmouth and baptised 16 February 1829 to James Ranton and Judith Day. I have his baptismal record (from Ancestry) and I have found him (and Elizabeth mind you) in the 1841 UK Census. Additionally, I suspect that he was a mariner because I have a mariner's ticket for a Henry Ranton from 1829 in Great Yarmouth that matches him well.

I would like to find out where he is after 1841 and find out when he died if possible.

Same sort of story with Elizabeth, baptised 21 Feb 1840 to James and Judith, I actually have her up to the 1851 UK Census living with her father James and his second wife Ann (Miller) Ranton in Great Yarmouth but I lose her after 1851.

Any help or advice would be appreciated I have been on the hunt on Ancestry and FamilySearch for ages.

She is Eliza on all those records isn't she not Elizabeth?

Have you already checked for a death for her between 1851-1861.

Do you know who George Ranton grandson age 13 in 1871 belongs to?

Of course I know Eliza would mean her "full name" is Elizabeth,  I have also searched FreeBMD and found no deaths between 1851 and 61.

Not necessarily, I have an Eliza and an Elizabeth in the same family as separate girls names

The 1871 census with Ann Ranton 79

MMN on that was Owen which was the name of Ann Miller Ranton's first husband John Owen (meaning Ann and John likely had kids (and this grandson was a child of those children)
