Frank Wadham

I am trying to find any detail on a Frank Wadham and as to see where he fits into my Wadham tree.The only clues I have are from a will of his uncle William Joseph Wadham who died 1950  in Croydon.The will states that Frank Wadham was William J Wadham's nephew and in 1946 Frank was living at 33 Old High Street Headington Oxford.I have an extensive Wadham tree but I can't place Frank . Any help appreciated

According to the death in 1950 of William Joseph Wadham he was 85, therefore born about 1864.

Luckily there was only one born around that time. Q2/1864 WEST DERBY AND TOXTETH PARK MMN Jones

He had a brothers born there Joseph 1860 & Alfred 1866.

Just supposition on my part so far but is

Eleanor D Wadham related, she wasn't married to William J Wadham

Musgrave Road Croydon feature in this Wadham  family

Eleanor Wadham was William Joseph's sister in law -the widow of his brother Alfred sinclair Wadham

Have you a marriage between Alfred and Elinore/Eleanor

I assume from your reply to Louisa Maud I have the correct family for William Joseph.

Between 1946 and 1992 there were only 3 Frank Wadam and 2 Francis deaths.

Of those only 2 were younger than William Joseph.

Frank J died 1949 Isle of Wight age 85 (1864)

Frank 1959 Brighton age 81 (1878)

Frank C 1965 Uckfield age 70 (1895)

Francis C 1955 Croydon age 85 (1870)

Francis W 1959 Poole age 95 (1864)

I’m not sure if you can find the connection and there is the possibility that Frank died after 1992.

Have you looked at other wills for Wadham, from memory I think Eleanor left a will ( not at my main computer)
