My main screen says Chat(5) but when I click in it I get a message saying I cant access it. How do I see those messages?

You probably need to have made 3 posts on here before you can access it, just reply to this and try again.

If you have a query that you want looking at you would probably be better posting it on the boards as a lot of us who help do not visit the chat room.

I've only been once before, but I've just gone in now and the (5) looks like the number of people currently chatting there.

Crysblk - as I type this, you are currently logged in there too.

Added:
I've now logged out, but unless you do that it looks like you'll eventually get timed out.

But personally I much prefer the forums as you get a bit more time to think before replying - and I find it a bit creepy to go in the chatroom and suddenly everyone knows you're there.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Tried it a few years ago but found the conversations were too fast for an old lady.

Like arthurk I prefer the forums where I have time to think but not everyone is the same.
