Can anyone help with finding HINTEN WALDRIST Berks
and any associated records

Particularly looking for a marriage of EMILY ? to? ROXBY
I know this is very vague but it is all I have at present possibly around late 1880's to late 1890's

HINTON-WALDRIDGE, (or Waldrist), a parish in the hundred of Ganfield, county Berks, 6 miles N.E. of Farringdon, and 8 N. W. of Abingdon.

 Arthur C Wolluff abt 1875  Hinton Waldrist, Berkshire, England Lodger 

I don't think the marriage took place in Hinotn - having looked at the origanal I think son - Williams age is 7months not 7 so the marriage probably took place in Middlesex

However I think this is her with her family in 1881 - I think her lodger in 1901 is really her brother

Jean - by posting  in this way instead of continuing with your earlier thread you now have memebrs looking up information that I had already supplied to you. It is probable, by the way, that Wooloff is a misreading of Wolff by a transcriber.

I was probably wrong about Woolloff as I see there exists a website - not functioning right now - which is a one-name study of the Wolloff family.

However my question was regarding the place and I saw them as 2 separate queries hence my reason for posting on the Berkshire section
