J A Burnett
« on: Sunday 01 December 19 14:38 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I have recently posted about another family member and have found the response extremely welcoming and helpful. Due to this I would like to again ask for help.

My great-grandfather, James Alfred Burnett, was a Navigator for the RAF in the Second World War, however he never spoke about his experiences. We know that James was a Volunteer Reserve and that he served with the 282 Squadron, also that he traveled to Egypt and Canada while fulfilling his duties. We do not know his service number which has caused some hinderance in our research.

If anybody could help us or advise us it would be very appreciated.
Thank you in advance

WW2 records are still with the MOD, you do not need his service number to purchase them

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.
