Yahoo groups

I am suscribed to a certain number of French Yahoo groups.  I have been reading the messages on the website rather than receiving individual mails.  In view of the changes to these groups, this will not longer be possible in a few days time.  I have therefore been trying to change my settings to receive individual emails, but these modifications are not saved.  i have accessed the site via both Edge and Firefox but to no avail.  Any advice gratefully received.

My understanding is that Yahoo are discontinuing " Yahoo Groups" altogether ?

As I understand it, the majority of the functions will be withdrawn but it will still be possible to send and receive individual emails, hence my attempt to change my settings.

I have just received an e-mail from Yahoo detailing the changes effective from 14 Dec.

Yes, I received one at the beginning of November.  They said there would be others nearer the date for the introduction of the changes but I don't think I've had any.  No mention of changing the settings though; that was discussed on one of the groups I belong to and receive individual emails already.  As there are rather a lot of others, I preferred not to fill my inbox.  I may just have to unsubscribe and resubscribe, or I might not bother as there isn't much activity on most of the other groups.

I have solved my problem by accessing each group separately and changing my settings.  Much longer than on the group management page but at least it has worked!

Glad you have managed to sort it out jayaygee

.I did not have that problem as the Group(just one)I belonged to has decided to stop altogether.
