Both Patrick (9 March 1919 Kirkintilloch) and Sarah appear on a border crossing Canada to the USA 5 September 1948 arriving Buffalo NY. Visit only. Delegate to the 13 th convention. United Electric and Machine Workers of America. Employed by Canadian Westinghouse Electric Co for last 2 years - Previous in R C A F  4 years. Before entering Air Force employed for National Steel Car Co. of Canada for 2 years.      Lived at Park View Hamilton Ontario at that date.

Many thanks DonM and Sandra.

I came across the photo of Patrick Joseph's grave marker but had discounted it because in all the RCAF and Hamilton Spectator articles he was shown only as Patrick.

I asked the Parry Sound Public Library for his obit but they have now turned over their obituary collection to the West Parry Sound District Museum so I will make inquiries there.

Hopefully the obit will be forth coming  :)  Not unusual for a middle name not to appear on records.
Does seem a coincidence he was in that area.
