Hello all, any help with this query will be greatly appreciated
I am trying to find the parents of Louisa HOUSE (possibly Hows / Howse) born abt. 1805 either Reading or Wantage, Berkshire. The closest I have come to finding her baptism is a Lucy Hows baptised St Giles, Reading, 31 August 1806 with parents John Hows and Elizabeth and a possible marriage for parents - John HOWSE with spouse Elizabeth NIAS, married 20 May 1799, Wantage, Berkshire. Obviously all supposition at this stage.
A bit of background and the definite information I have on Louisa. She married Charles SNOW 28 December 1828, St Mary's Reading. I have found Charles b.1804 Gallowstree Common (a shoe/bootmaker), Louisa b.1805 Reading (a nurse) and children on the UK Census from 1841 to 1871.
Charles and Louisa had eight children and their youngest daughter, Emily b. 1846 Reading, married James FORD 1 July 1867, Lambeth, Surrey and their son Percy Reginald Britton Ford emigrated to South Africa.
