Hi keyboard

I've been unable to find this while at the library.  Which site have you used?

Thanks  :)

This is on FindMyPast someone with Ancestry may possibly find it via census ref.

Im sure this is the correct family, however, the issue we have with the 1861 census is

mary is listed as his wife and not bridgett
james is listed as his son and not thomas

could those be middle names?

Probable marriage in 1852 (Q2) in Stoke on Trent RD: Bridget Towey and Bernard Flinn on same page, vol 6B page 227

2 more issue i have with this family is the on 1871 census, bridgett is Bidgett Towey and not Flynn. also her age has quite a gap

1881 -22 willow cottages - bridgett flynn 58 - head
1871 -22 willow cottages - bridget towey 38 - head
1861 mary flynn (is mary bridgetts middle name??) 30

It seems like both childrens ages change correctly over the census.

I understand that some information changes slightly, but there seems be a few things going on here.

Any ideas to help clear this up? maybe wrong family?

Thanks

:) Hi again  you will appreciate I am duplicating all the work I carried out on your other thread,, I have just checked female births 1852+/- 1 Stoke on Trent ( Phonetic ) and there is only one a Mary Flynn with mmn TONEY?

I also explained my confusion of a wife called Mary instead of Bridget?

I also located a Bernard Flynn June qtr 1862 Stoke on Trent mmn Towey who just disappears!
