Baptism records - North Shields areas

Hey,

Where is best to try and find a Baptism record in North shields area if I don't know the church?

I have limited info.

Joseph Thompson born 5th March 1905

Father Joseph Thompson and mother unknown.

You know his father is Joseph are they together in 1911

I cant work out what record is his in 1911 
There are several Joseph Thompsons in the area. That could be potentially him.
Thompson is too common a name!

I have his father's name off his marriage certificate.

I obtained his date of birth and date of death from Preston cemetery in Tynemouth as they had the details of his Cremation.

is that your Joseph with his father in Seghill boarding in the home of Joseph Parry,
states Dad is married ,but years married are crossed out

Unfortunately it's incorrect.
This is the wrong parents, as he is not the son of William Henry Thompson and Elizabeth Irwin.

Since this tread I've obtained his marriage certificate and found a father's name of Joseph Thompson.

I'm now hoping to find a Baptism record to narrow a mother's name.

I think I followed Joseph Palfreman Thompson and he is single in 1939 where as my Joseph was married in 1930 and had a wife and children.
