Wow
Marvelous job Carolyn!
How on Earth did you find that?
Brilliant!
I can't see a burial for Elizabeth Lippiatt but from the rest of her Will to her sisters and and nephews and nieces she started life as Elizabeth Taylor.
Sister Sarah married Thomas Tompkins 6 Feb 1758 at Thornbury ,sister Ann married James Eley Feb 1760, and Elizabeth Taylor married William Lippiatt 13 .5.1766.
They married by licence and both signed their names.
Wit Jno Lipiatt and Wm Gwinnett.
It seems William and Elizabeth didn't have any children.
William was buried 3.9.1780 at Thornbury. Age 37 years .So he couldn't be Ann's father.
William was bapt 24.6.1744 born 21st June s of John and Ann Lipiatt
He had two brothers John bapt 17.8.1750 -6.2.1789 aged 39 publican and Thomas bapt 30.10.1751-29.6.1753 infant ?
John Lipiatt leaves a Will but no mention of Ann Lipiatt Thomas .He mentions his wife Elizabeth Lipiatt who he married in 4 Dec 1785 also born Lipiatt.
Also his sisters Hannah Taylor and Ann Barnett and their children John Taylor and William Lippiat Barnett. It was 1786. Proven in 1800.
Other family Wills John Lipiatt senior Will of 1777,wife Ann 1785 ,James Taylor husband of Hannah Lippiatt 1808 (they married 13.6.1779),Elizabeth Taylor's sister Mary Greenwood 1805.
John and Ann Lippiatt had the following children -William 24.6.1744 ,Ann 19.4.1747 ,Hannah 5.8.1748 ,John 17.8.1750 and Thomas 30.10.1751.
It looks like Elizabeth Lippiatt nee Taylor was the child of James and Mary Taylor
Their children -Sarah 22.10.1735 ,Ann 9.3.1736,Mary 27.12.1738,Elizabeth 27.3.1741,William 17.4.1743,Jane 18.12.1747.,and possibly James who married Hannah Lipiatt.
It seems that Ann Lippiatt Thomas's father is either the Thomas Lipiatt bapt 1751 at Thornbury or John Lipiatt the publican and his brother bapt 1750 .
