Land Settlement Edmonton 1927

My Granddad George Waring sailed on the MV Montcalm on 20th May 1927 and landed at Quebec. On the destination it says Land Settlement Edmonton Alb. I would really like to find out what happened to him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typically the Land Grants were the title deeds for c150 acres that has been farmed for a minimum of five years.

My Grandfather did just this twenty years before yours.
