Can anyone identify this badge? Thought to be a Rugby cap.

It reminds me of my father's Allan Glen's cap from a similar time. Certainly the colours are the same. It could be worth trying to contact the current team (or the school) to see if they can help.

The problem is that I don't know which club or school it is from.

Letters in the badge are:-

A C S
A S C
C A S

and all other combinations etc.

It is not Rugby School.

Could the 'C' be a 'G' as there is a double serif on the lower end and a single on the top one?

Yes Pari. Could well be G.

Certainly three Letters, with an A and an S.

Because it refers to a certain year overlapping or two years on the trot.

It could be someone's initials.

I have been awarded prizes and they gave me a choice of Cap or Tie from the Gents Outfitters or a Book.

They give you Vouchers, but I like books, but the Cap or Tie was to be embroidered with your initials.

Anyone in your family (or the family that the Cap belonged to) with those three initials?

My Grandmother won a Scholarship to Grammar School c.1920 and her initials are printed on her School Case we have.

Nothing to do with Rugby School. It belonged to someone who played Rugby & lived in Cambuslang.
