Edith Sturtevant Yorke b1870 India

Hello,

I found a relative in the 1891 census with her aunt Sarah Faulkner nee York living at Asylum Road, Peckham, Surrey
She was Edith Sturtevant Yorke b1870 India - d.1892 Peckham. I cant figure out who her parents are, and was hoping someone may be able to help find records with her? I have tried FindMyPast and FamilySearch, but had no luck.

There is a tree on Ancestry with all her details.  Born Dindigul  Tamil Nadu 5.7.1870 parents William York & Sarah Wilber Ashley

Says Edith was in Kent in 1881 - she is a boarder - see 1881 entry

Sister Sarah Wilber York b India 23.3.1872 but it then says mother died in Missouri USA March 1872??

William Yorke, teacher, married Sarah W Ashley, teacher at Madura on 29 Jan 1864. Groom's father William Yorke, Farmer, bride's father Barter Ashley, Merchant

NOTE - bride's father is transcribed as Barter - but doesn't look like Barter on the original record?
