Can anyone please help ?

David Vaughan Barclay died in the early Spring of 1918 in Abergavenny. His school admission records him living at Spring Wells and being the son of John and Matilda Barclay.  There are multiple entries for him on the school admission records of 1903 and 1907 . He is recorded as suffering from Rheumatic Fever  and also being an Invalid and having to take extended breaks from his education.  I would like to know where to look for his grave in and around Abergavenny in particular Springwells.
John his father died in 1952 and Matilda his mother died in 1959 both in Abergavenny.
Any help would be appreciated … Thanks in advance

His death certificate might help with where he died. Were they Chapel or Church. Could  be the difference between Cemetery or Churchyard.

They were a chapel family , but a death certificate will only show the registration district, it will not show where he is buried and I have the index copy of the registration from Jan-Mar 1918 Abergavenny.

The next bit for Wilcoxon only....

But more to the point in the Summer of 1979 I was sat at Stow Corner  while Barry Sheene and Kenny Roberts duelled for the GP….Roberts was the better rider.....an afternoon famous for many reasons as the rain came later and the sidecars all came into the catch fencing near us...also for the 125 cc race when a Dutchman seated by us asked loudly  "Ver ist Vill ? "......when Hartog did not show up at our corner halfway through the race.

The death certificate will show his last address - Abergavenny Registration District covers a number of locations.  And as his father was a Railway Signalman it is possible that the family moved around - in 1901 the family are in Pontypridd.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
