Name spelled differently but the number is correct, does the family info add up? His service record 1914-1918 is on Ancestry and Findmypast.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.
It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.
With deep sadness,

Tragic - gassed during shelling on 10 November 1918, evacuated to 32 Casualty Clearing Station, transferred to an ambulance train 13 Nov 1918 for evacuation from France and died on the train on 15 Nov 1918.

Hi
That looks like the guy not part of my family though.
I couldn't find his medal card on the free part of the Ancestry site.
Many thanks.
