This is the marriage registration on FreeBMD. When searching the surname Slaytor for the marriage it doesn't give a result but shows as Slayter then clicking on the page number to get all the couples named it is Slaytor!
Marriages March 1/4 1913
George Child and Margaret E Slaytor   registration district Elham vol 2a   page 1956

Using FreeBMD and Slaytor spelling   there are four possible children to this couple. A son in Dec 1/4 1913 Elham, a daughter 1917 Leicester, a son 1921 Hinckley, a son 1926 Droitwhich

There are some trees on ancestry who have Margaret born in Nova Scotia canada 6 November 1893

According to the trees on ancestry George born 9 November 1878 and died 1930 Droitwhich but no names for parents or siblings. having died 1930 he won't show on the 1939 register.

Margaret is on the 1911 census in kent with her parents and many siblings born in various places and her father is a Tailor and an army pensioner.

If the details on the public trees are correct for Gerge child's birth date then there is a choice of 3 births in the Dec 1/4 however two of those have middle names which 'your' George hasn't on his marriage record which leaves one birth registered in newent which spans the boundaries of the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. On the GRO index the mother's maiden name is given as Lee.
All of yhis is speculation and you really need to purchase the marraige certificate for George and Margaret to get his father's name and occupation.
It will be difficult to sort him out from the crowd in any military records especially because 60% plus of WW1 service records were destroyed by bombing and fire and water damage in WW11. Medal Roll Index cards and Award and medal records do survive but don't have personal details except in very rare cases.

There's this one in the free index to 1911, as a possibility. Age 32

The 3rd Hussars were at Shorncliffe in 1913.

I can’t find any mention of it in ‘Folkestone, Hythe, Sandgate & Cheriton Herald’  on British Newspaper Archive. Although it may be in other newspapers which aren’t available online.

I also had a look.  That paper does not have many wedding photos, and they are usually just of the couple.
