Ralph Whitehead, Lancashire
« on: Saturday 18 January 20 15:33 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
I am hoping someone can tell where my ancestor, Ralph Whitehead married in the 1850s. His wife was Ann, but I do not know her maiden name. Their children include Peter, born 1855, John, born 1859....both baptised at St. Margaret's, Hollinwood. I understand Ralph himself was baptised at St. Mary's Prestwich in 1829 but can find no record of his marriage anywhere. Have I got Whitehead's mixed up?

Well that would appear to be the correct family but I had Peter marrying Elizabeth Wolfenden in 1874, not Etchells.  ???I suppose I don't need to find a record of Ralph's marriage....it's just niggling that I can't!
Thank you for your speedy reply.

It was Ralph who married Etchells not Peter.

You asked for Ralph.
