William Collier b1802
« on: Sunday 19 January 20 09:12 GMT (UK) »
Has anyone researched William Collier (1802-1851) 1851 census gives his birthplace as Windsor but I cannot find a likely match. I would like to find out who his parents were if possible.

He married Elizabeth Lewis in Westminster in June 1824 (witnesses Charles and Ann Fleming)  and their Children Frederick, Esther, George, John, William, Edward, Elizabeth and Charlotte were all born in Windsor.
If any can help I would love to hear from you.
Many thanks

It looks like William senior died in about May or June 1851 In Windsor. I was thinking of getting the death cert to make sure I wasn't confusing father with son.
 Regards

As far as I can see on the GRO website there was only one death in Windsor in 1851, the one age 13.

Thanks
