German Newspaper Archives 1943

Hello,

I'm trying to find out if there are any German newspaper archives online? I'm researching my cousins B-17F and his crew that were shot down over Munderloh, nr. Oldenburgh 25 June 1943. According to the official investigation report, dated 3 May 1946, there seems to have been a lot of local publicity regarding the crash. Hopefully the 'locals' still published?

Thank you very much, Dave. FYI I'm researching my cousin Raymond Heron who was a Ball Turret Gunner and was KIA 25 June 1943 over Oldenburg. I was having problems cos of translation probs. Thanks.
