You need to go to Scotland’s People
You will have to register, which is free.

https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/record-results?search_type=People&surname=Mcmeekin%20&forename=Hugh%20mundy&forename_so=exact&from_year=&to_year=&surname_so=exact&record_type=stat_births

Unfortunately both their marriage (1946) and Births are in the period where you have to order a physical certificate, but once you are back another generation you will be able to purchase credits on Scotland’s people and download images immediately. They are very well priced. You just need to get back past that initial hurdle.

Does no one have a copy of these in your family? (In the little tin box at the back of the wardrobe  ;D)

Being Scotland the Marriage cert will have the names of both parents of both, so you could conceivably just get the marriage cert, then leap back to their parents so long as the names aren’t too common.

Welcome to Rootschat

Both were born in Glasgow and as shown above - you will need to get copies of their respective birth certs which will include their mothers maiden names.  A big help when trying to find their parents marriage

Hi
Welcome to Rootschat.
Good advice from Mckha.
I wonder if Hugh's parents could have been Edward McMeekin and Annie Mundy, who married in Milton RD in 1916.
