I think this is a possible marriage for Gladys Maria Macgregor 1918 St Giles Edinburgh
Spouse Robert Hamilton ..
Gladys Marie Hamilton also on a few passenger lists and  her address in UK as Dundas St
Edinburgh also the address  15,Royal Circus Edingburgh of her brother Ian Gregor Macgregor

Just found this death Gladys Maria Macgregor other name Hamilton age 90
1986 George Square Edinburgh mothers maiden name Stevenson
Also William Douglas Macgregor 1983 age 82 Dunblane mother maiden name Stevenson

You've been busy, Rosie! I gave up after my last post as I was starting to go cross-eyed. If Gladys married a Hamilton, who on earth is G.M. MacKenzie then? The only other niece I know of at this point, apart from my great-grandfather's daughters, is William's sister Isabella's daughter, Atholl Isobel Murray, the doctor's wife. I wonder if this is one of the missing brother Rankine's children?

Unfortunately, no. William's dad's death record did, which meant I could look the informant (a cousin by marriage) up on the census returns, but this one just has "G.M. MacKenzie, niece." Not very helpful. Margaret MacGregor herself was living at 12 Abercromby Place, Edinburgh, before she was hospitalised.
