How old were they in 1841 and when were Selina and Edward born? 

This will help with searching later years.

Selina Smith married George Barter in 1846 - In 1851 Selina Barter and her two brothers Joseph & Edward are in Goathill

Edward Smith 5.5.1826   Sherborne labourer
Selina bapt 22.8.1828 at Sherborne labourer

Susanna Cevil d of Joseph and Susanna at Sherbourne 13.10.1790
James death gives a age 68 years on GRO site.
