CWGC are looking for relatives of Second Lieutenant Claud Percy Mackness of the Gordon Highlanders
born 111 August 1887 who died 16/12/1917

Claud was born on August 11th 1887, in Edmonton, North London, the son of warehouseman Ernest Mackness and his wife, Hannah.
Claud was invalided back to England for a second time to a convalescent home in Christchurch, Dorset.

Lt Mackness is buried at Whyteleafe  St Luke Cemetery Surrey - the CWGC are in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.

Ernest Josiah Mackness - 6 Love Lane Wood Street London and of Oakdene Warlingham died 8 July 1913 - probate to Hannah Mackness - registry London.

Probate for Hannah Mackness - 13 Meadow Green Welwun Garden City Hertfordshire - died 16 February 1941 - probate Llandudno to Douglas Charles Mackness - manufacturers agent.

Brother Douglas Charles Mackness - 75 Valley Rd Welwyn Garden Hertfordshire.  10 December 1968 -
probate Peterborough 12 February.
Doesn't lopok as if Douglas married .
