1900 Census
« on: Sunday 21 August 05 12:22 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find details of Thomas Herbert Rice (born Liverpool, England in 1870). Could someone please check it out, to see if he found his way over the Atlantic? Family story suggests a relative went to Arizona.

Many thanks,

Colin

Hi Colin
Found this smidgen on the 1900 US census

Rice, Thomas, age 30, born 1870, England, Truck Driver, to USA 1889, naturalized.

Peter, age 32, born 1868, England, Truck Driver, to USA 1889, naturalization pending.

Both are listed as Brothers in Law to John Harkness, (with wife Mary), living in New York.

Any of these names ring a bell?

Regards,
Valerie

Thanks very much Valerie. I don't think it is him. Does anyone else know any information, on any Thomas Rice born in 1870 in England, living in the U.S. in 1900?

Many thanks,

Colin
