Hannah Cullum - 1781 baptism Suffolk or Norfolk?

Hello everyone,

I’ve been trying to find a baptism and therefore the parents names for Hannah Cullum born 1781 (going by 2 census dates).  She married Bateman Ward in 1798 in Colchester, Essex.  They lived in Ipswich, Suffolk. 
On the census it says she was born Ipswich but I cannot find any birth record for her.  There is a birth in Norfolk for 1781 to parents John and Jane.  Could this be her?
I’m confused why she even got married in Essex as her husband was from Suffolk. 
If anyone could help solve this I would be most grateful as I’ve been searching for quite  a number of years and would love to be able to pass this information on to family.

She was possibly working in Essex and that is why she married there.

Where in Norfolk did you find that baptism for a Hannah Cullum.  She may be the Hannah Cullum who is in East Carlton in 1841

There is a birth in Norfolk for 1781 to parents John and Jane.  Could this be her?

She could be the Hannah who married in Norfolk in 1808.

Baptism was Gissing Norfolk and the marriage Denton Norfolk to William Fulcher but I don't know how close those places are.

How many census have you got your Hannah on please?

Thank you for your replies and for taking the time to look for me.
Hannah Cullum married Bateman Ward in Essex but they then lived in Ipswich.  Bateman was from Bildeston.
I did see a baptism for May 1781 with parents John and Jane Cullum in I think it was near Diss in Norfolk.  I did see the other baptism but this was a few years earlier so just presuming it’s more likely to be the 1781 baptism.
Hannah is on the 1841 and 1851 census in Ipswich under Hannah Ward and Bateman Ward.
I didn’t think of that, that she could have been working in Essex, thank you for thst info

Just as a matter of interest, what name did Hannah give her eldest daughter please? Sometimes the eldest daughter was named after the mother's mother - which can help. Unfortunately we can't guarantee it - but you never know!

Her daughter (only child I think) was also called Hannah born 1800.  Wish there were more clues to this

I have just checked other children born to Joshua and Hannah -- they had several after Hannah (b Pulham) -- and had moved to Forncett by at least 1784 - still there in 1790.

That's quite a way from Ipswich - so it's not a case of your Hannah moving to Ipswich as a young child and thinking she was born there.

I suspect that rules out Joshua and Hannah as parents.

Do you think it could be the other parents John and Jane?  They were from near Diss I think. 
If it was Norfolk though, I don’t understand why Hannah would say she was born Ipswich. 
So confusing
