According to the LDS CD-ROM transcription of the 1881 census, there are two households at 26 North Church Street, Lochee (parish of Liff and Benvie)

James STEWART   Head 28    Pedlar   Tain
Helen STEWART           Wife 23    Cope Winder   Dundee
George STEWART   Son    9 m                          Lochee

John DUNBAR          Head 34  Labourer                Kilmarnock
Catherine DUNBAR    Wife 32  Woollen Weaver   Perth
Joan DUNBAR          Daughter 4  Perth, Perth, Scotland

However several of the other addresses in North Church Street have multiple households - No 32 has 5, and No 34 has 4. I wonder whether the enumerator just overlooked the McPhails?

The street is now mapped as Kirk Street, but all the buildings shown on the second edition of the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map around 1900 have been demolished https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=18&lat=56.47241&lon=-3.01446&layers=168&right=BingHyb so I can't look at a photograph to see what sort of buildings they were.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
