Donaldson Bros born in Edinburgh

Trying to find more on these two brothers.

James Laurie Donaldson was born in 1858 and his brother Robert Haswell Donaldson in 1860 in Edinburgh sons of John Donaldson and Eliza Laurence Laurie.
James married Mary Boyd in 1884 and had two daughters Anna L Donaldson c 1887 and Winifred c 1896 .I have James and Mary on 1911 census but can find no death for them or any other information of their daughters.
Robert Haswell was born in 1860 Edinburgh I have him on 1881 census where it is stated he is an art student can't find him after that.

Any help or advice would be appreciated .

The Scotsman 10 August 1886 - Two very well executed etchings by Haswell Donaldson, a promising local artist have just been published ..both of Edinburgh ...  He has won a considerable reputation for such works    Also many later reports of his etchings on copper

If he went by the name of just Haswell Donaldson, there are a number of google refs for him and his works. Haven't found a bio yet...

Whow!!!!
            What  surprise I had to pop out for a wee while and come back to all this my husband is gobsmacked never thought he would have an artist in his family tree.
            I have been searching for these two brothers for a long time and was hoping that some "Rooter" could help as I am hoping to  go to NRH in Edinburgh soon.
