St Margaret's Church , Wolstanton
« on: Tuesday 10 March 20 15:34 GMT (UK) »
Hi All ,

I was wondering if anyone can help me please ?
My great-grandparents John Thomas Cloney B 1894 D 1975 and Harriet nee Hallam B 1897 D 1961 are apparently buried at St Margarets in Wolstanton . I have visited several times but cannot find  a grave  . How do I find out where it is ? Do I have to apply to the church direct ?

You could always try contacting the church - they must have a grave plan and, if nothing else, could point you in the right direction for the whereabouts of the grave, whether there is a headstone or not.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Their website appears to be very friendly, and "if you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer"  ;)

AND it's quite a large churchyard to search
