Looking for Timothy McCarthy

We're looking for the birth record and parents of ancestor Timothy McCarthy from somewhere in County Kerry.  He was born around 1826, exact location unknown.  He emigrated to the United States, possibly during the Famine, and eventually became a miner.  He married Catherine Curran, date and place unknown, and died in Virginia City, Nevada, USA in 1888. He was in Bangor, Maine, USA in 1860 and in Virginia City by 1880.  His daughter Elizabeth was born in Bangor in 1854.  Please respond, if any of this information matches your family's history.  Thanks.
