Isaac Brown 1831
« on: Thursday 12 March 20 21:56 GMT (UK) »
Hi everyone I am looking for any further help with either the baptism, marriage or death of Isaac Brown. 1861 census record living in Staindrop has his birth as 1831 born in Northumberland but 1881 census living in Staindrop has his birth as 1831 born in Huddersfield. I cannot locate any baptism record that matches either births. From the GRO records of his children's births his wife was Elizabeth Robson born 1838 Newcastle upon Tyne but I cannot locate a marriage record. Any help would be appreciated

So youve not provided census locations, nor names, years and locations for his kids?
Let's start with that, eh?

I can't see the Robson mmn, for early kids. Which ones do you have?

Thank you Keyboard86. I agree that it looks like you have found the correct death records for Isaac Brown and Elizabeth Brown. All of the children's births in GRO record mother's maiden name as Robson but I still cannot locate any marriage record. Also for Isaac Brown the nearest baptism I can find is 27 June 1830 in Holbeck, Yorkshire with parents Isaac and Mary. Any further help would be greatly appreciated  ???

Might this be the marriage?

Only she is showing, no hubby:

Mar 1856 Hexham 10b 506
ROBSON Elizabeth

Maybe her in 1851: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SG67-JWK

Hi Jamjar. It looks like Hexham 10b 306 March 1856 is not the one. Family Search shows husband is either Robert Charlton or Thomas Herdman  :-[
