William and Rhoda appear to be living in Toronto in 1923. Rhoda took a trip to England and the Form 30A related to her return gives a Toronto address. She gives her name as Frances Rhoda on this record.

Is this her daughter that is listed as relative from whence she came. It appears she & William are headed back to Florida.

Grace Harris 24 Thomoston/Thomaston Sq, Toronto was the niece of Wm Rowles.

The daughter was named Joy on the Buffalo NY border crossing 13 November 1918 - address 141 Walmer Road Toronto.

I forgot that the Toronto Directory is on line....

Living at 141 Walmer Road in 1919 is a Geo (George, I'd think) McGill. Hopefully, he is the husband of Joy.

We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

Felt I was going round in circles but have found a couple of pieces of info that might be unravelling things.

There is a Rhoda Slee born 1870  travelling Liverpool to St Johns New Brunswick on the Empress of Britain arriving 27 April 1907. Also travelling Joy Slee aged 7 years. Passengers travelled from Gloucester. Onward to Winnipeg.

UK Outbound Passenger List Mrs Rhoda Slee born 1871 - aged 40 years - - Port of Departure Bristol to Montreal Canada. 19 April 1911 on the Royal George.  The child's name looks more like Miss Ivy Slee aged 11 years.

On the Canadian Passenger List for this entry it says they were going to Toronto. Both been in Canada before Portagela and Prarie.  Marked as returning Canadians.
