I think the last name was misspelled in this index  with an "e" added on the end.

Thanks for that now I dont know when I see the head stone as in the 1910 usa federal census Margaret JOHNSTON lived Vernon Tolland Connect at Lalea Moeller Road  it says she was single. her birth year being 1824 and Connecticut? Her cousin was Eliza Jane DUART. I found a will leaving everything to Eliza 1909 but not subscribed and sworn untill 20 June 1916. Margaret was a Burler ? at a woolen mill Her age 1910 being 86. I also found a news paper clipping stating that 22 oct 1912 a Miss Margaret Johnston and a Miss Eliza Duart of Tallcottville were visiting friends > I would really like to know how Margaret and Eliza are related and if Margaret was really born in Usa and her real age. Eliza was born abt 1872 Hillsborough  northern Ireland to George Dewart and Agnes Cairns. How do I get a connecticutt death cert? With thanks lnr

The 1910 census gave the relationship as "cousin" - Margaret born 1861 so she would not be 86 years old.

There is a New York Passenger List showing Eliza I Duart - born 1871 and aged 22 years - Londonderry to New York - arriving 5 June 1893 on the Furnessia. Going to Hartford.

Unfortunately those earlier passenger lists do not give a lot of information.
