Frederick HOARE´s death - brickwall
« on: Thursday 19 March 20 13:25 GMT (UK) »
Frederick HOARE born 2q 1875 Wandsworth 1d 622, married Nellie Snook 25 Oct 1896 in Woking Surrey who died 15 Feb 1954 in Horsell, Woking Surrey.

In 1926 they were still living in Horsell when their son Norman Charles Hoare was born.

I still have not found a death notice for Frederick HOARE after many searches over the past years.
Can anyone help in finding the date and year for me, thank you in advance for looking?

Take a look at the family on the 1939 register - you will have to search for Nellie.

When you have seen the 1939 entry then this death should make sense:
James Frederick Hoare, died 4q 1941 aged 65, Surrey North-Western 2A, 608.

Beat me to it JenB  ;D

As an aside Muffin, they have recently built a care home on Horsell Moor overlooking the cricket ground, I think it is near the footbridge to Goldsworth Road but have not been to look.

You found it JenB

I was confused by the birth Frederick Hoare without the James which was his first name. ::)

I haven´t been to Horsell for some years now Rosie ;D

It probably has not changed a lot since you were there apart from the large housing development that was built between Goldsworth Rd / Horsell and St Johns.  Horsell Moor was much the same when I last went there a few years ago.
