Is this a request for help with your research?  If so - can you be more explicit as to exactly what help you need and what you already have so we don't duplicate info.

The Samuel Davey who died in Bideford died Dec.qtr.1883 (not 1888) and shown as bc.1795.

1851 Census at West Putford shows this Samuel Davey as bc.1793 West Putford, with 2 daughters and a 10 month old grandson - Samuel Hutchings Davey (b.1850).

Samuel senior married as Samuel Davy to Ann Broom 24/3/1823 West Putford.

Ann bc.1794, buried 7/1/1844 West Putford
Samuel bc.1795, buried 26/10/1883 West Putford

Samuel Davie bp.14/6/1795 West Putford, son of Samuel and Grace

Samuel junior appears to be the son of Mary Davey who married a William Hutchings Mar.qtr.1852 Torrington.  A son John born Mar.qtr.1853 Torrington, and a James born Mar.1855 Torrington - these 2 boys are with their parents in 1861 but aside from the 1851 census entry I can find no further trace of their elder son Samual Hutchings Davey under either Davey or Hutchings.
