Just to follow up on B12 jabs I contacted the surgery yesterday by email and was told to come in this morning.  I went in and my GP administered the injection as usual.  ;D

I hope that Viktorias daughter manages to get them too.  I certainly did not have a problem and the surgery was virtually empty just one other person waiting to see someone else.

Now to settle down to VE day, the red arrows flew over earlier I nearly missed them  ;D

My daughter was due her 3 month venesection appointment which requires a blood test 1 week before but was told these appointments are not going ahead at the moment. Her iron levels are at the low end of the scale for hemochromatosis so they will likely sort out what seem to be more urgent cases first.
OH got his 3 month bloods done (to do with medication) at local surgery yesterday morning (doctor's appointment done last week by telephone). Appointment made last week (nurse only doing 2 days rather than 5), rang doorbell at allotted time, door was unlocked & he was admitted (only 1 adult allowed in and if another patient already in then you have to wait outside). While he were waiting a man came up to door and tried to get in. I explained current procedure and pointed to all the notices on the door/window (for prescriptions phone to order or re-order then collect direct from chemist- there's only one chemist here so not difficult to figure out where to go). He just looked at me like I was crazy and still tried to get in...
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thankyou Rosie and everyone else,I am very grateful

Rosie do you mind if I forward your post to my daughter if possible?
She can then ,if needs be send it to her Dr. So I need your permission for that too .
To date, well this morning at 10 -30 she had heard nothing but Bank Holiday .
If it is there for Monday things may start moving.
However I do understand if anyone would not want me to forward things, but at least we know it is possible to do.
I will respect your decisions, just off to telephone my daughter.
She will be at home today and having a rest from technology etc
Sincere thanks again.
Viktoria.

Of course you can forward it to your daughter Viktoria.  Hopefully your daughters GP will have sufficient staff & PPE to change their policies on this.

Back to hair - I think I've now passed the "dragged through a hedge backwards" look and I am now rapidly approaching the Keith Richards look.
