Can you please list all the information on the marriage certificate, 1874.....Elizabeth.....and George.

If we can locate a death for George it might lead to death date / place for wife Elizabeth.

What children do you have for William PURDY and Elizabeth HOWARD?.

Was this Elizabeth nee (=born as) HOWARD?
Did she marry PURDY?
Did she then marry SMITH?

So she was nee HOWARD, formerly PURDY, Died as SMITH?

Or ...?

What denomination for burial of William PURDY ...

How certain are you that George SMITH  the witness on April 1874 burial is same person on June 1874 marriage ...

Liverpool NSW in 1870s covered huge district as far north as where Eastern Creek is.

William buried in Pioneer cem at Liverpool. Church of England. (from Liverpool FH group sources/. Not at all sure if George was one and the same just 'assumed', seemed a coincidence and probability to me .

Can you please list all the information on the marriage certificate, 1874.....Elizabeth.....and George.

You are leaving out details that will be on the certificate.

Do you see a signature for George SMITH on the death certificate, 1874, and for George SMITH on the marriage certificate, 1874.

Quite a number of chaps in Liverpool district in 1870s who were named George SMITH, add also those as Geo SMITH ....

Plus the ones in the Newtown District also a large area in 1870s...

You have said
Children from marriage Jacob 1833,Thomas 1849,Levi 1851-1931, Susan 1853-1924.

I assume this is from her 1847 marriage to William PURDY and if so please could you give the correct date for Jacob

And these children registered in NSW, parents William, Elizabeth
1856 William E PURDY, reg O'Connell Town, #2184  - died 1857 (reg Glebe, #1627)
1858 William, reg Glebe,  #2568 - died 1917 (reg Kogarah, #4219)
1859 Sarah A, reg Goulburn #7572 - died 1861 (reg Goulburn, #2912)
1862 Mary J PURDAY, reg Goulburn #7616

Have you definitely ruled out the Elizabeth SMITH died in Hay 1879?  I know the mother's name is incorrect in the index record.
NSW 1879 Elizabeth SMITH, reg Hay #5975
