I'm assuming NZ electoral rolls are digitised and online/available to Ancestry subscribers?
I f so I'd be grateful if someone could please check the occupation of a John Campbell who I've found listed as a member of the Freemasons Lodge of Harmony, Otahuhu, with residence noted as Otahuhu. He was initiated in March 1921. Age 24 so dob around 1897. The entry for his occupation is difficult to read and could be biograph operator (i.e. a cinema projectionist) or diagraph operator (using the diagraph instrument to copy plans etc at a different scale).
This is assuming occupations are listed in electoral rolls? They aren't shown in UK records, unless someone has a business vote, but it would be really helpful if they were!
Thanks for indulging my curiosity.
