Bridget Mannion
« on: Monday 13 April 20 18:12 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to find the parents for two of my Ancestors Bridget Mannion (maiden name) and John Connell.  Her husband was John Connell born around 1784.  Bridget was born around 1811 Dunmore Tuam.  She married John Connell in 1837.

Witness to the marriage was Martin Kirwin (I think) and Mary Hanley.  There are no parents at all on this registration.  I have looked on Roots and Irish Geneology, Ancestry, Family Search and Find my Past, to no avail.  Can anyone help me please

Thank you

By Roots do you mean Roots Ireland?
Irish Genealogy doesn't have church records for Galway, all the others have transcript and/or images of the parish registers on the NLI site.

If there are no parents named on the marriage than that is your last stop.

There is a new and very active Facebook Group - East Galway Genealogy and DNA.  Mannion  is one of the names which features on there.  You have to apply to join but the group seems friendly and helpful.  There is lots of info on there.
Perrins - Manchester and Staffs
Honan - Manchester and Ireland
Hogg - Manchester 19 cent
Anderson - Newcastle mid 19 cent
Boullen - London then Carlisle then Manchester
Comer - Manchester and Galway
