Hi

Please can someone help.  I have a Hotmail account, when I send an email to a gmail.com site, they can see and read the message from me, they reply, but I don't receive it.
Any help please.

Have you checked in your spam folder?

If you SEND an email from gmail ( probably any other system too ) and it is failed to deliver it will be returned to your Inbox at gmail giving some reason for the Failure to Deliver.  If you have not received this msg then the fault lies at your Hotmail end of things.   You need to supply more details for a better analysis, cheers, Ian

Ian - it's a friend replying to her that's the problem, I think, not her friend not receiving.

It goes - gmail ->hotmail - fine

Reply hotmail -> gmail  - no go

I have no problem communicating with hotmail accounts from my gmail accounts, both ways. 
Could you get your friend to send a new mail rather than reply, just to see.

Ian as Gadget says, I can send to a gmail.com account that arrives, but when a reply is sent I don't receive. By replying from gmail to Hotmail either by the 'reply' button or typing my email address nothing is received.

Its a bit long, but towards the end someone appears to have found what was causing the problem in their case at least.
