I am seaching for Rossiter - famiy tree tracing back from Roster of Shrewsbury
Have managed to get back to
George Rossiter
Mary Rossiter
Son born Michael Rossiter 1801
information further back on the parents trace is unavailable or I cant get that far back

What records do you have for Michael - census, marriage etc?

I can see a baptism for Michael Rossiter, 1801, Avoca, Wicklow with parents George and Mary.

Is this the one you have?

As the baptism you refer to wasn’t Dublin, do you think it best to keep the other thread going and close this until you have more definite information?

The other can always be moved if necessary.

Michael was born on the 4th March 1801.
Baptism in Avoca, County Wicklow.
Diocese of Dublin
Parents George and Mary
Looks like the sponsors were Thomas and Jane Byrne.

The other thread has more information re the Michael b 1826 and living in Shrewsbury.
It would be good to know if his father was also Michael hence this query re Michael b 1801.

Michael b 1826 shows Wexford in census.

The Michael b 1826 is referred to in the other thread’s posts and there is no connection yet to Dublin.

It would be best to stay with one thread - confusing.
