Found this baptism in Swavesey st.Andrew for john hodson 19th march 1662/63 parents William and Elizabeth. Is there a marriage for john in Swavesey i found a burial for john don't know if its the person 08 Mar 1739/40 aged 75 husbandman

Cambs bapt/marriage index??? john hodson bapt 1666 drydrayton, or quaker births
 john hodson feb 1661 at huntingdon/bluntisham, son edmond/elizabeth  refs RG6/1594.
marriage 1686 cambridge st mary.

Thanks for the replies i also came across a burial for Rebeckah wife of john 16 Apr 1729 St Andrew swavesey

I think i can rule these john's out looks too far from cranford st john in northants where my john settle down

While I can't help with your specific enquiry it's fascinating to see that there were Hodsons in Swavesey so far back. I grew up in Swavesey and one of my classmates at school was a Neil Hodson. His father was a farmer in the villlage.
